About the Centre

The Woodside Guide Dog Discovery Centre is an interactive eye health and education facility created by the Association or the Blind of WA.  It has been designed to promote eye health and educate the community about the needs of people who are blind or vision impaired.
The Centre contains a variety of experiences: walk through a virtual soundscape, play audio-base computer games, locate specialist eye information, try to crack codes and, as the name suggests, the opportunity to learn about Guide Dogs and much more. The Woodside Guide Dog Discovery Centre is located at the Association for the Blind of Western Australia, 61 Kitchener Avenue, Victoria Park.
