Database of Adaptive Technology in Western Australia

WELCOME TO DATWA, the Western Australian database of adaptive technology equipment for people who are blind or vision impaired.

THIS DATABASE is intended as a tool for identification of useful technology resources held in the public, education and training sectors within WA. It will be of most use to Disability and Equity Officers, Special Needs Librarians, Special Educators, and all individuals working in the disability field who are seeking to locate equipment appropriate to their client's needs. This database is also intended to be used by people with a vision impairment seeking to identify accessible adaptive technology resources within the community.

PLEASE NOTE that equipment reported to DATWA is not necessarily available for use. This database is primarily a means of reporting and listing ALL adaptive technology equipment held in these sectors.

DATWA is an initiative of the
Post-Secondary Education Disability Network (PSEDN)
and the
Association for the Blind of Western Australia.
