It is possible for blind people to do music. The problems of not being able to see can be overcome in many ways. Totally blind people manage fine in playing. With playing a musical instrument, sighted people find that they have to do it by feel anyway, because they need to read the music as they are playing. Many blind people learn their music by ear (listening to a recording and learning it off that). Someone with a vision impairment who isnt totally blind can cope if the music is enlarged to whatever size that person needs. But for the totally blind, there is a special code of braille, braille music. Braille music uses the same cells as normal braille, but the meaning of each cell is different from reading braille. It is not like print music at all. It is hard to get used to if you are used to print music. Thats what I found anyway.
